The above picture was photoshopped and I have to thank Marcey, with and "E", for her brilliant ideas. I apologize if they offend anyone. Kind of. Stay tuned!I'm inspired by the Green movement and this is what I have to say about it. I'm clueless when it comes to boy meets girl, and that's exactly how I feel about being GREEN. I'm not a writer and my "green" credentials are in the works. Whether you care to agree or disagree let me know your thoughts. Stay tuned to see what happens when Green Meets Girl;)

My "Green" Campaigns
The above picture was photoshopped and I have to thank Marcey, with and "E", for her brilliant ideas. I apologize if they offend anyone. Kind of. Stay tuned! The Three R's
Let's take a trip down memory lane. You may remember learning about the three R's in elementary school and if you have forgotten them, you have come to the right place. REDUCE, REUSE, and RECYCLE! For example: Try fixing an old chair, instead of buying a new one to help REDUCE waste. When you go grocery shopping, REUSE paper or plastic bags you already have. Last, but not least RECYLCE! You can recylce paper bags, plastic, aluminum, card board boxes, etc.
I'm also convinced you can apply the three R's to your love life. If your love life is getting to complicated you can REDUCE the amount of men/women you have in it. If you dated someone who just isn't a fit for you, don't have a problem with RECYCLING him/her. They just might be a fit for a freind. And sometimes you just need to REUSE an oldie but goodie. You never know, it might work out the second time around;)

How it all started..
I took a course through Sustainable Works back in Jan'09 and it was to say the least life changing. During the course I learned so much in the areas of water, energy, waste, chemicals, buying & purchasing and travel. I have a new passion for anything related to the Green Movement because I'm a tish clueless about it. I'm learning as I go and can't wait to share with you my new discoveries.

How to BE GREEN in 2010
If you're looking for a resolution for 2010 and want to start the New Year off right how about being a little more eco-friendly. Here are my top five ways to bring some GREEN into next year
1. Buy a SIGG bottle and stay away from plastic.
2. Visit your local farmer's market at least once a month.
3. If you still don't recycle... START!
4. Start using a re-usable bag. You can buy them anywhere or I have plenty to spare if you need one:)
5. Take a Green Living Workshop through Sustainble Works. I promise you will learn some incredible information. Visit sustainableworks.org
