I had someone not that long ago ask me what a GMO was. I suggested she do some research and let me know her thoughts. I found this website to be very helpful http://www.nongmoproject.org/ Corn, cotton, papaya (one of my favorite foods), alfalfa, sugar beets and soy beans are the top genetically modified crops grown in the US. I guess we will know the true side effects of them in 20 years. Until then safe eating!
I'm inspired by the Green movement and this is what I have to say about it. I'm clueless when it comes to boy meets girl, and that's exactly how I feel about being GREEN. I'm not a writer and my "green" credentials are in the works. Whether you care to agree or disagree let me know your thoughts. Stay tuned to see what happens when Green Meets Girl;)

Time to organize
It's time to go back to the drawing board. New Year's came quick this year and it's time for me to fall in love with blogging all over again. One of my resolutions this year is to remember all the things I love about who I am and not loose sight of that this year. Time to organize my life with the help of my recyclable calendar.

The Green Truth
I am beyond disappointed that Pressed Juicery doesn't strive to always use organic produce. Huge concern for me since I'm a big fan of Greens 1 and the last thing I want to be gulping down is a bottle of pesticides:/ Below was the response to my email asking if they use organic produce...
Also, if you ever got pressed juice from Whole Foods come to find out they don't use organic either. What a buzzkill!

Hi Nicole,
Thank you for your email. We strive to use organic produce whenever possible, but due to the high volume of juice that is being demanded of us sometimes a product becomes unavailable and we have to resort to conventional produce. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

So fresh and so clean
I'm not sure if this would fall under the category of an eco- car freshner, but I'm going to go with it. I haven't tried it, but a Trader Joes Employee suggested that I leave a bar of this soap in my car and it works as a great car freshner. Hmmmm... Let you know how it go's!

Green Meets World
While in Texas last year I came across these bracelets that help a great cause. These glass bead bracelets are hand crochet by women in Nepal. Each purchase helps to improve the quality of life for these women and their families. Read all about this at www.lilyandlaura.com!
